As teachers become accountable for student performance in science, many are looking for comprehensive, standards-aligned resources that are available anytime, anyplace. QuickScience™ gives teachers easy access to resources, strategies, models, and techniques that empower them to teach science effectively in the classroom. It gives the already over-burdened teacher "day one performance." What is QuickScience?


QuickScience is a web-based tool designed by a team of researchers and educators from the University of West Florida. Initiated with congressional funding, this three year project culminated into a "best practices" teacher tool with access to hundreds of science resources to be used right away in the classroom. QuickScience contains hundreds of web-based lessons, WebQuests, activities, news stories, and science experiments that are all aligned to standards. Practice and assessment are built into the tool, by standard.
