eReports is a user-friendly ad hoc report creation utility that allows end users to develop a variety of user-defined reports. It also supports selective access to functionality, existing reports and data.

eReports reporting gives a user robust reporting features to meet the needs of larger organizations. This application will have all the features as expected in standard reporting including data grouping and sorting, statistical calculations, paging, export, and much more.

It also provides valuable interactive features by which the end users can view and manipulate results as needed. Comprehensive administration tools are also available for application management, user and group management, and role-based security to control the data available to each user and group.

It’s designed to let knowledge workers and even BI novices create their own queries and run their own reports without necessarily knowing anything about relational databases or SQL.

Functionality:

eReports enables business decision makers and technical end-users to dynamically develop and run reports. eReports services to be distinct in the following ways:

  • Users can view report data in context with related database tables and fields. For example, a user can create a report that uses data from several customer tables in the context of the ‘Accounts Receivable’module


  • Users can drill down in report data


  • Users can export reports to Microsoft Excel, PDF, HTML and CSV with the click of a button depending on permission


  • Depending on permissions, users can view report data (and create reports)
