Description:

Provide technical leadership and project management in entire SDLC process from architecture groundwork phase, IT acquisition phase, and software build/coding stage, testing phase and deployment stage. Selected candidate will be subject to following phase wise activities:

Architecture Engineering Management Phase: Make high level design choices; establish an application framework for development incl., component reuse; subdivide complex app into manageable pieces; Provide leadership in IT acquisition (needs analysis; system requirements definition; acquisition plan development; and establishment of acceptance criteria)

SDLC Engineering Management Phase: Provide leadership in IT design using design patterns, modeling languages and design concepts such as control hierarchy, data structures, structural partitioning, abstraction, etc., and with adequate consideration to compatibility, extensibility, modularity, fault tolerance, maintainability, reliability, reusability and robustness

Software build stage: Provide technical direction and leadership in Software Build stage through consideration of programming paradigms

Software testing stage: Provide technical direction and leadership management in testing; establish parameters for scope, defect/failure tracking, software verification and validation, SQA methods; establish testing methods including non-functional testing, testing levels and testing process

Deployment phase: Provide technical direction and leadership in deployment activities such as release, installation and activation, adaptation, updating, version tracking, uninstalling/retiring and built in

Project Management: Provide administrative project management such as coordinating and directing projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities; Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications; Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients; Direct, review, and approve product design and changes; Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence; Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects; Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of information technology projects; Develop or update project plans for information technology projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing; Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope; Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel; Coordinate recruitment or selection of project personnel; Develop and manage annual budgets for information technology projects; Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI); Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel; Establish and execute a project communication plan; Identify need for initial or supplemental project resources; Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans; Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables; Assess current or future customer needs and priorities through communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or other methods; Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems; Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback; Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies; Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
